Today on the blog, I’m highlighting one of my sweet University of Texas at Dallas seniors – Kate! Kate is a 2025 UT Dallas graduate, and wanted her senior portraits to reflect both her hard work on campus and her personal style.

Kate’s session is part of a growing trend among graduates: pairing the traditional on-campus senior photos with an off-campus location for extra variety. We began at Highland Park Village, one of my favorite Dallas spots for seniors who want a colorful, visually rich backdrop. Kate loved this idea after seeing my past work here, and it was the perfect opening location, giving us a variety of vibrant, joyful photos that became a cornerstone of her album.

Afterward, we headed to the UT Dallas campus to showcase the classic senior landmarks: The Plinth, Memorial Fountain, and the beautiful magnolia trees. We also explored a few tucked-away campus spots that I’ve come to love for their charm and uniqueness. While UT Dallas may not have as many traditional photo locations as some campuses, thoughtful planning and a little exploring gave us plenty of meaningful backdrops to round out Kate’s gallery.

While her choices of locations were stunning, it was Kate’s joyful spirit that made this session special. The result? A beautiful and diverse collection of senior portraits that she can treasure and share for years to come. Congratulations, Kate!
