Lilly was the very picture of sophistication for her graduation portraits at SMU this spring. A graduate of the Cox School of Business, Lilly’s vision for her session was timeless and full of personal touches that reflected her journey at Southern Methodist University.

This year, SMU completed a two-year renovation of the Cox School of Business, and its newly refreshed facade has quickly become a favorite photo spot for my SMU seniors. The clean lines and stately architecture made for the perfect backdrop for Cox grads like Lilly who wanted to include a subtle nod to their field of study in their images.

Accompanied by Lilly’s friends, we also captured portraits at several more of SMU’s popular senior picture locations, including Dallas Hall, the lawn, and the fountain.

Lilly wore a beautiful white midi dress embellished with lace appliqés and patent leather pumps. She turned to celebrated salon Céron Highland Park for professional hair styling, who did an outstanding job. I always recommend professional hair and makeup for my graduation clients—not only does it ease some of the stress of getting ready, but seasoned artists know how to create looks that photograph beautifully and hold up in our warm Texas weather.

It was such a joy working with Lilly, and I’m so excited for all that’s ahead of her as she returns to Houston to begin her career in finance!
