Madison and Cole’s Highland Park proposal was one of those moments that felt straight out of a movie. Madison is a fellow Aggie and has graciously modeled for me ever since I moved to Dallas, so when Cole reached out to share that he was planning to propose, I couldn’t contain my excitement. We coordinated around chilly January weather and worked hard to keep everything a surprise — and when the day arrived, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Cole chose Flippen Park in Highland Park, a favorite proposal spot for its quiet charm and timeless beauty. The park’s fountain, white gazebo, and winding walkways make it such a romantic setting for moments like this.
As soon as Madison and Cole arrived, everything just clicked into place. When Cole dropped to one knee, Madison’s reaction was pure joy — surprise, laughter, and a few happy tears. Moments later, her closest friends appeared to celebrate with her, adding another layer of sweetness to an already perfect afternoon.
Afterward, we explored the park for a mini engagement session, capturing portraits around the fountain and garden paths. The winter light was soft and glowy, giving the images a romantic, effortless feel that perfectly reflected their excitement and love.
It meant so much to be trusted with this moment for a couple I adore. Madison is always such a joy to photograph, and I know she’s going to be the most beautiful bride.
